Zrharc! The Comment Word Verification Dictionary
If you've tried to post a comment on a Blogger's blog, you've likely run into Word Verification, that random string of letters that you must type in order for your comment to go through. Sometimes we've seen that "word" and made up a funny definition for it. This is a lexicon of those definitions.

This is hilarious. One of the most real-sounding yet!
love meagan
p.s. "proof image"?? In case we don't believe you? Ptdgguzb!
Yes, I started using proof images, so a reader wouldn't just think I made my "words" up.
Which, ahem, I am guilty of.
(A couple of times.)
Nobody else has to use proof images if you don't want to. But you can if you want to. :)
how do we do it if we want to? i'm clueless.
I didn't notice the question until now, sorry.
1. When you see a good word, right-click and save the image (changing the filename "captcha" to the word itself).
2. Start a new post, making sure you're in Edit HTML mode.
3. Upload the image you just saved. This will put a bunch of code at the beginning of the post, which you'll delete later.
4. Find the image URL (looks like http://photos1.blogger.com/ blogger/2322/1176/200/abcdefgh.jpg)
5. Copy that URL into the code of the "proof image" link, like this:
<a href="http://photos1.blogger.com/
blogger/2322/1176/200/abcdefgh.jpg">
<em><span style="font-size:78%;">
[proof image]</span></em></a>
6. Go to the top of the post and delete all the code for the image (don't worry, the image itself is still saved) so it doesn't show up in the post.
If that sounds like technobabble, you can edit one of my posts and take a look at the code for how I did it.
